Philippians 1:6

I have been recently asked to check out Philippians 1:6, "
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" It makes me think about how it still isnt us that does anything, its God. Lets think about it... Paul was talking to all the saints of the church at Philippi (v.1). He that begun a good work in me/you will do it until Christs return. That is amazing to consider what God does to us and in us and even through us as His children. I havent started to study this passage yet, but I would love to hear any comments or what anyone thinks about this. I just recently was studying Psalm 62, which is really encouraging to study. What God brought out to me was the fact that He is our DEFENCE of INACCESIBLE HIGH PLACE!!(v.2, v.6) and that david said "I SHALL not be greatly moved" Later in the Psalm I find that we are to Trust in him at all times, and we are to set our expectation on Him(v.8). Its really incredible because then David tells us that HE is our refuge or Shelter. It seems to me that with a God like this why cant we put our Trust in Him at all times? I think thats a good question. There is more to this study, and I know that I kind of went off topic but just had to add that in!
